The SDMX Sponsor Organisations agreed on a joint commitment to modernize official statistics for the AI era at the 2025.

Recognising the impact of generative AI, the Sponsors are working together to ensure official statistics remain trusted, accessible, and AI-readable for evidence-based policymaking.

As pathfinders, they will test governance and technologies to integrate official data into AI systems, aiming to build a Global Trusted Data Commons where statistics are machine-readable and globally usable.
