The attached paper presents results of mapping between SDMX and XBRL standard used for the Data Point Model (DPM) from EBA (European Banking Authority).

The work was conducted jointly by experts in the Banco de España and European Central Bank in the context of the SDMX Roadmap 2020 and the activity about interoperability between SDMX and other standards. The study describes the two models and does a comparison of the different artefacts. The document also contains a study case where the mapping in both directions, SDMX -> XBRL and XBRL -> SDMX, is presented based on existing collections for the two standards. The document provides the reader with some recommendations/guidance on how mapping can be achieved.
