The SDMX Global Registry (SGR) is the web based IT application that contains SDMX Data Structure Definitions (DSDs) and other SDMX objects supporting the world-wide implementation of the sixth edition of the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM6) and the System of National Accounts 2008 (SNA2008).

The SDMX Global Registry will contain more SDMX global DSDs and their related objects as they become available. It is the central reference point and authoritative source for SDMX global DSDs and related objects.

In order to facilitate the implementation of the SDMX standards, the SGR will provide an easy access to the SDMX DSDs and other SDMX artefacts that are used and maintained by national and international organisations.
