The 11th Experts Meeting on Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) took place at INEGI Aguascalientes, Mexico, during November 28-December 1, 2022.

It was co-organized by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía of Mexico (INEGI) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), on behalf of the SDMX Sponsors.

The Experts Meeting is a biannual event that brings together SDMX experts from national statistical offices, central banks, international agencies and the private sector, from around the world, to discuss and promote good practices, share lessons learned and advance the standard to adapt to new technologies and evolving requirements.

SDMX experts were invited to submit their proposals to sdmx@inegi.org.mx no later than October 8, 2022. The topics discussed were the followings:

• Implementation of SDMX 3.0
• Data Modelling
• Data and Metadata Governance
• Capacity Building
• SDMX and other technologies, standards and models

The agenda of the meeting and information about the venue, were published on the website of the event at https://www.inegi.org.mx/eventos/2022/sdmx/. All sessions were held in English with simultaneous interpretation to Spanish.
