The 5th SDMX Global Conference was held from 28 to 30 September 2015 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok. This year's conference was entitled "SDMX in Action" and covered the following topics:

• SDMX strategy and achievements
• SDMX implementations, infrastructure and tools
• SDMX into the future
• Capacity-building (getting started with SDMX, how to model data in SDMX, how to publish data in SDMX)
