The 1st SDMX Global Conference took place in January 2007 and was hosted at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., USA. The goal of the conference entitled "Towards Implementation of SDMX" was to provide an overview of SDMX developments, to demonstrate practical implementations and to provide introductory capacity-building in both technical and content-oriented aspects of SDMX.
