New SDMX guidelines on the governance of commonly used SDMX metadata artefacts are made available by the SDMX Sponsors. These guidelines describe the SDMX governance model and the governance principles of the artefacts. They also deal with maintenance issues related to these artefacts. This is the current SDMX 2.1 Technical Specification. Minor errors and inconsistencies have been corrected in August 2011 and May 2012.
